The lights on your sight will not increase the visibility of your target. However, don’t think that if you have the lights, you will be able to see your target easier. The use of these optional lights all depend on your usage and hunting hours.
The phosphorescent pins work in a “glow-in-the-dark” manner and do not need any batteries, but will remain lit for a limited period only after dark. If you prefer your sights to have optional sight lights, the PSE Aries sight may be a good way to go. Lights are a secondary light source to provide additional illumination to the pins. It also includes an indiglo sight light, and a phosphorescent glo ring. Choose sights with minimum plastic components, and you’ll have one that is worth the price and will last you longer. Some sights are made of plastic, and often judged as cheap or low quality, but, metal parts are definitely more durable than plastic ones.
